Language of Thoughts (LOT)
Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of LOT across its applications, websites, and related services. By using LOT, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if required by applicable law, have legal capacity to accept these Terms, and use LOT lawfully. App stores may apply a higher age rating because LOT includes anonymous user-generated content and mature themes.
If you use LOT on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Accounts, security, and encryption
You are responsible for your account, credentials, devices, and activity under your account.
You may not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, sell or transfer an account, evade an enforcement action, or interfere with security controls.
You are responsible for preserving any passphrase or device credential required to decrypt private notes. Super Able does not store your raw note passphrase and may not be able to recover inaccessible encrypted content.
3. Your content and licenses
You retain ownership of content you create.
You grant Super Able a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, transmit, format, process, analyze, translate, moderate, and display your content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide LOT and its requested features.
For content you make public or share with others, you also grant us permission to display, distribute, excerpt, create previews of, and make that content available within LOT, public profiles, web previews, share cards, app-store materials, and related product promotion. We will not intentionally use private-note text in public marketing.
Private notes are intended to remain encrypted and private to your account unless you choose a feature that requires readable processing, such as AI reflection, Companion, sharing, or anonymous matching. AI reflection may be enabled by default for new accounts so LOT can prepare private reflections and Companion context, and you can turn it off in settings. Those features are governed by your choices, these Terms, and our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it does not violate law or another person's rights.
4. Companion and AI-generated content
Companion is a reflective AI feature. It may use the active note or message, compact context derived from your authored thoughts, recurring patterns, and encrypted memories you approved. Companion can be inaccurate, incomplete, overly confident, delayed, or unsuitable.
When AI reflection is enabled, LOT may process your own notes to prepare private reflections, Companion context, safety signals, and related summaries. These outputs are meant to support reflection, not to make decisions for you or publish private content without your action.
LOT is not therapy, psychological treatment, medical care, diagnosis, crisis support, or an emergency service. Companion does not replace qualified professionals or trusted people in your life. If you may be in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services. In the United States, you may call or text 988 for crisis support.
You must review AI-generated reflections and first-person drafts before relying on, sharing, or saving them. You are responsible for decisions you make and content you publish.
Companion memory is optional. If you approve memory, LOT saves a short encrypted summary rather than the raw conversation transcript. You may review, correct, or delete remembered information through available settings.
5. Anonymous thought matching and conversations
Matching is designed to help users discover that someone else may be holding a meaningfully similar thought. It is not dating, identity verification, professional advice, or a guarantee of compatibility, safety, accuracy, or connection.
- Public thoughts may become eligible for matching automatically when they pass safety checks.
- Private or friend-shared thoughts require your approval of an anonymous excerpt.
- A conversation opens only after both users choose to participate.
- Participants see anonymous labels, not usernames, profiles, or internal account identifiers.
- Either participant may leave, block, or report at any time.
In anonymous match conversations, you may not request or share names, usernames, contact details, external links, school or workplace details, precise locations, or other information intended to identify or contact the other participant outside LOT. You may not pressure another person to reveal their identity.
If either person leaves, the conversation closes for both and new messages are rejected. Conversation records may be retained for 30 days before deletion, or longer when reasonably necessary for an unresolved report, safety investigation, legal obligation, or enforcement.
Automated anonymization and matching can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing an anonymous excerpt before approving it and for avoiding details that could identify you or another person.
6. Acceptable use and zero tolerance for abuse
LOT supports honest, difficult, controversial, emotional, political, philosophical, and personal expression. We do not remove content merely because it is unpopular or uncomfortable. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users where conduct threatens safety, exploits others, or violates law or these Terms.
You may not use LOT to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, intimidate, or abuse another person
- Encourage self-harm, suicide, violence, terrorism, or unlawful extremism
- Target a person or protected group with dehumanization or calls for harm
- Post sexual exploitation, trafficking, non-consensual sexual content, or sexual content involving minors
- Share pornography or content primarily intended for sexual stimulation
- Dox, expose private information, impersonate others, or coordinate off-platform harassment
- Defame others or knowingly publish materially false harmful claims
- Distribute malware, phishing, scams, spam, or manipulative engagement
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
- Evade blocks, bans, moderation, rate limits, or security systems
- Scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or exploit the Service except as permitted by law
7. Reporting, blocking, removal, and enforcement
LOT provides controls to report objectionable content, block abusive users, hide or remove posts from a feed, decline or leave matches, and contact Super Able directly.
We review objectionable-content and abusive-user reports within 24 hours. When we confirm a violation, we may remove the content and eject, suspend, restrict, or terminate the user who provided it.
We may also:
- Filter, label, restrict, make private, or remove content
- Close conversations or disable matching
- Preserve records needed for an investigation
- Limit features, revoke invites, or remove access
- Refer matters to law enforcement where required or appropriate
Legacy group or community features, if still available through an older supported client, remain subject to these platform-wide rules and may be restricted or removed.
8. Third-party services
LOT relies on third parties for authentication, hosting, storage, databases, notifications, analytics, diagnostics, security, and AI inference. Providers may include Apple, Google, Firebase / Google Cloud, DeepSeek, Zhipu, and other providers selected by Super Able.
Providers, models, prompts, routing, limits, and availability may change. Third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
LOT is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, notification delivery, permanent feature availability, recovery of encryption keys, preservation of exported files, successful matching, or the correctness, usefulness, safety, or availability of AI outputs and user content.
You should not rely on LOT for emergencies or for medical, psychiatric, legal, financial, employment, housing, insurance, credit, educational, or other high-impact decisions.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Super Able and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, emotional distress, business interruption, moderation decisions, matching outcomes, user conduct, AI outputs, third-party failures, or unauthorized access not caused by our willful misconduct.
Our total liability for claims relating to LOT will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid to Super Able for LOT during the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Super Able and its affiliates from claims arising from your content, exports, misuse of LOT, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights.
12. Suspension, termination, and feature changes
You may stop using LOT at any time and may use available controls to delete content or request account deletion.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for abuse, violations, legal requirements, security risks, or protection of users and the Service. We may add, modify, limit, or retire features and may preserve records where reasonably needed for law, safety, security, disputes, or enforcement.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by United States law and the law of the state in which Super Able Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where your local law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes may be announced through LOT, the website, or email. Continuing to use LOT after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
