Language of Thoughts (LOT)
USER POLICY & TERMS OF USE
These Terms govern your use of LOT, including our mobile applications, website, web app, and related services. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 13 years old, or older if required by your jurisdiction
- Have legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Use the Service in compliance with applicable laws
LOT is intended for mature users. Public, community, anonymous, AI-assisted, or other social features may be limited, restricted, or rated for older users depending on platform rules, safety requirements, and applicable law.
Platform storefronts may apply their own age rating, including an 18+ or other higher App Store age rating for anonymous user-generated content. That storefront rating does not change LOT's general account eligibility rule above, but it may affect who can download, access, or use certain versions or features of the Service through that storefront.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining account confidentiality
- All activity under your account
- Providing accurate account information
You may not:
- Impersonate others
- Create deceptive or fraudulent accounts
- Share, sell, or transfer access to your account without our permission
- Interfere with account security, encryption, rate limits, moderation, or platform integrity controls
You are responsible for maintaining any passphrase, device credential, or other key material you use to access encrypted private notes. Super Able may not be able to recover private notes if you lose the relevant passphrase or device access.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create.
You grant Super Able Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, transmit, format, translate, analyze, create derivative metadata or inferences from, and otherwise use your content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, maintain, personalize, promote, and improve the Service, including AI-assisted product features, search, ranking, discovery, notifications, safety, and cross-platform access.
For content you choose to make public or share with others, including public posts, replies, community posts, public profile information, display names, usernames, avatars, bios, and shareable resonance cards, you also grant Super Able the right to display, distribute, excerpt, adapt, and promote that content in or in connection with LOT and Super Able, including on the web, in app surfaces, previews, embeds, app-store materials, social previews, and other product or marketing contexts. We may choose not to display or promote any content at our discretion.
Shareable resonance cards and exported images are user-directed exports. You are responsible for how you use, publish, or redistribute exported cards outside LOT, and you must not use them to harass, expose, mislead, impersonate, or violate the rights of others.
Private notes are intended to use LOT's encrypted-note system. Shared, friend, and community content is not intended to be end-to-end encrypted in the same way and may be processed in readable form as needed to provide sharing, moderation, ranking, recommendation, and AI features.
LOT is built to protect honest thought. Private notes and private thoughts are given the broadest freedom available under the law and are not intended to be moderated for viewpoint, tone, offensiveness, or personal subject matter. If you enable optional AI features for private notes, your note text may be processed only as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Once you publish or share content with others, including public posts, friend posts, community posts, replies, profile content, avatars, bios, display names, usernames, share cards, and exported content, that content affects other users and may be subject to moderation, safety controls, legal requirements, platform rules, and community rules.
You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws and these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
LOT is designed for honest thought, including thoughts that may be difficult, uncomfortable, controversial, political, religious, sexual, angry, critical, offensive, or emotionally intense. We do not remove content merely because it is unpopular, disliked, or expresses a difficult point of view.
Freedom to think and speak on LOT does not include the right to abuse other users, threaten people, exploit others, reveal private information, coordinate harassment, evade moderation, or use the Service for illegal activity. LOT has no tolerance for abusive users, unlawful content, exploitation, credible threats, targeted harassment, or conduct that makes the Service unsafe for others.
LOT may use automated, client-side, server-side, or human-review moderation methods to filter, block, review, restrict, make private, or remove public or shared content and abusive behavior.
Protected expression may include:
- Personal thoughts, doubts, fantasies, fears, anger, grief, desire, shame, or confusion
- Political, religious, philosophical, cultural, or critical opinions
- Criticism of ideas, institutions, public figures, movements, or beliefs
- Discussion of sex, attraction, relationships, identity, or adult experiences
- Discussion, quotation, criticism, or analysis of hateful, offensive, or disturbing ideas
- Fiction, satire, exaggeration, dark humor, or emotionally intense writing
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, or abuse another person
- Target a person or protected group with intimidation, dehumanization, or calls for harm
- Post credible threats, praise or encouragement of real-world violence, terrorism, or unlawful extremism
- Post sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, sexual content involving minors, trafficking, or solicitation
- Post pornography or overtly sexual content intended primarily for sexual stimulation
- Dox, expose private information, impersonate others, or encourage harassment off-platform
- Defame others or knowingly post false claims likely to harm a person's safety, reputation, or livelihood
- Distribute malware or phishing content
- Spam or manipulate engagement
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
- Circumvent moderation or security systems
5. Communities and Moderation
Community owners and moderators may manage membership and content. Community owners are responsible for operating their communities in a way that respects applicable law, user safety, and these Terms.
In private communities, community owners and moderators are primarily responsible for setting and enforcing community expectations, removing members, and managing content within that community, subject to LOT's platform-wide safety and legal rules.
In public communities, community owners and moderators must enforce community rules in a way that is ethical, lawful, and consistent with LOT's platform-wide safety rules. LOT may intervene in public communities when needed for safety, legal compliance, platform integrity, or App Store and hosting requirements.
Super Able Inc. and the LOT team reserve the right to remove, restrict, demote, label, make private, or otherwise limit any public or shared thought, post, reply, community content, profile content, or username where necessary for safety, legal compliance, platform integrity, community health, or product operation.
This may include actions such as removing posts, removing members, revoking invites, restricting access, or otherwise enforcing community or platform rules.
Users can report objectionable content, hide individual posts from their feed, and block abusive users using in-app safety controls. Users may also contact Super Able directly at info@superable.net to report inappropriate activity.
6. Enforcement
We review objectionable-content and abusive-user reports within 24 hours. When we confirm a violation, we may remove the offending content and eject, suspend, or terminate the user who provided the offending content.
For public or shared content, we may also make content private instead of deleting it when the issue is about audience, context, or platform fit rather than illegality or abuse.
We may investigate violations and take action, including:
- Content removal
- Changing public or shared content to private
- Warning or restriction
- Community ejection or removal from relevant surfaces
- Account suspension or termination
- Referral to law enforcement where required
Enforcement decisions are made at our discretion.
7. Intellectual Property
LOT, including software, trademarks, branding, and design, is owned by Super Able Inc.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service except as permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Services
LOT integrates third-party services, including Apple, Google, Firebase / Google Cloud, hosting providers, analytics, crash reporting, notification providers, storage providers, and AI model or inference providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and policies.
If you enable note AI, note text may be transmitted through our backend to third-party AI processing providers for the limited purpose of generating private note AI results.
Different AI features may use different providers or models. For example, companion conversation features may use one AI provider, while analysis, translation, matching, prompts, or ranking may use another. Providers, models, routing, availability, and feature behavior may change over time for cost, performance, quality, safety, reliability, or product reasons.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
AI-generated outputs, recommendations, reflections, translations, resonance matches, and companion replies may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, offensive, or unsuitable. LOT is not a medical, psychiatric, legal, financial, crisis, or emergency service.
AI features may change over time based on product updates and user feedback signals such as helpful or not-relevant actions.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability of any content or AI output, delivery of notifications, preservation of exported files, recovery of encryption keys or passphrases, or that any match, recommendation, reflection, prompt, translation, or conversation will meet your expectations.
You should not rely on LOT for emergencies, crisis support, professional advice, or decisions that could significantly affect your rights, health, finances, safety, employment, education, housing, credit, insurance, or legal interests.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Super Able Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, business interruption, emotional distress, loss of access, account actions, moderation decisions, AI outputs, third-party provider failures, or unauthorized access not caused by our willful misconduct.
Total liability shall not exceed the greater of:
- Amounts paid by you to Super Able Inc. in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
- USD $100
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Super Able Inc. and its affiliates from claims arising out of:
- Your content
- Your exported or shared resonance cards, screenshots, or other off-platform sharing
- Your misuse of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of law or the rights of another person
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if necessary for violations, abuse, security risks, or legal requirements.
We may also remove, restrict, archive, preserve, or retain content and account records when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, backup integrity, enforcement, or protection of Super Able, users, or the public.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Super Able Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Venue and dispute-resolution terms may be updated later as the Service and company operations evolve.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
